Little League Coach Pitch Baseball - 7 to 8-year-olds – Typically Boys (female participation welcome, or see Softball for female only)

Coach pitch baseball builds on the rules of tee ball, but add a coach pitching and limited stealing rules. The catching position becomes more prominent. Score is kept during the games and league standings are maintained a league winner is determined at the end of the season. Play is officiated by an umpire. Bats must meet USA Baseball standards (marked "USA Baseball"). Teams may practice up to 2x per week before games start and continue to practice 1x per week after games start. Players receive a team uniform, a hat, and play approximately 12 games. A league tournament is held at the end of the season.
